Corporate Social Responsibility is inherent in our culture and way of being. Fruit of our commitment to and involvement with society and the environment is our adhesion to the Global Compact or our contribution to the Mundukide project, of which we are founders.
ORONA is a founding partner of the MUNDUKIDE FOUNDATION and one of the main contributors to this project.
The Mundukide Foundation was set up in 1999 with the aim of creating universal intercooperation, to promote cooperative projects for that developing a number of deprived villages and collectives.
Mundukide's mission is to cooperate with villages in the South by sharing experiences, means and knowhow, in order to promote the self-governing and integral development of the parties involved, and activate solidarity from the cooperative movement.
MUNDUKIDE's values are:
Training programs, technical support and institutional strengthening, directed at consolidated groups or collectives, with an ideological affinity with cooperativism and which, in some way, have sought the support of the Foundation.
Other activities such as support for the creation and development of cooperative businesses and for other organisations that work in the cooperative area in southern countries, plus the exchange of experiences or student internships in southern countries.
